Introduction

Funky Monkey HK is a family-run business by the award-winning bartender Dipen Gurung. After the grand success of the first two venues in Jordan and Tsim Tsa Tsui, Funky Monkey wanted to expand their third venue at Sheraton T-Bary Area, Tung Chung - their most ambitious project yet.

Restro Marketing was approached for the Rebranding and launching of the new venue at Sheraton T-Bay Area, Tung Chung.

Challenge

Funky Monkey had established itself as a brand to its community of regular customers. Funky Monkey is a well-known brand in its community and it had a distinct set of well-established design identity. However, the online presence of the brand was not consistent with the core of its brand values.

To change the identity of the legacy brand on offline channels and create a brand presence online presented the team of both Restro Marketing and Funky Monkey with a unique set of challenges.

Restro Marketing team started with re-designing the logo and creating a new identity system that is modern yet reflects the core values of the brand.

Restro Marketing overhauled the website of Funky Monkey and created a new video ad campaign for the launch of the new venue at Sheraton T-Bay.
